NEED HELP DURING COVID-19
The Scituate Food Pantry is open to all, including families that may not have needed assistance before. During the pandemic we are not requiring financial review, so if your budget is tight during these tough times, come see us. See below on how to get started.
Please note that pick-ups are curbside, so please remain in your car, and we ask that you wear a mask.
BEFORE YOU COME
If you're new to the Food Pantry, you will need to fill out our application. You can either print the form by clicking here, request us to mail you one or stop in during client hours to pick an application.
Who is eligible for assistance?
To be eligible for assistance, a person needs to be a resident of the town of Scituate and meet basic income guidelines.
What should you bring for first visit?
Current proof of Scituate residency and completed new client form.
How many times a month can you come?
Clients are welcome to visit twice a month. You can choose the days during our client hours that are most convenient for you.
PANTRY CLIENT HOURS
Tuesdays: 10am to 12:15pm
Thursdays: 3:30pm to 5:15pm
If you arrive to the pantry before or after the client hours, and we are in the building, please note that we are not open for business as we need this time to prep. Make sure to visit us during our client hours.
We are closed on all major holidays, over the Christmas/New Year break and during inclement weather when the Scituate Public Schools are closed. Check our website and facebook page for updated hours during the holidays.
We are now on the Sloop/Gatra schedule during our hours of operation. Click here for schedule and additional information
